This 5-night sun-soaked cruise sails from the exciting shores of Miami, spending a day at sea on the way to your first stop, Costa Maya, known as the new Tulum of Mexico, this beach town features hidden blue-water lagoon cenotes and endless opportunities for relaxation (and adventure). Spend the following day in the classic city of Cozumel before one more day of luxury on board sailing to Miami.
What's included in this trip:
- Pricing and availability is subject to change and is based off of the time of booking and availability.
- Accommodation: Your stateroom or cabin is included in the cruise fare. The type and location of your cabin can affect the price.
- Meals: There are no buffets on this ship. A variety of 20+ restaurant and room service.
- Entertainment: A wide range of entertainment options, such as theater shows, live music, comedy acts, and more.
- Activities: Onboard activities like swimming pools, fitness centers, sports courts, and organized games are included.
- Taxes and Fees: Port taxes and government fees are included in the overall cruise price.
- Gratuities: Mandatory gratuities (tips) are in the cruise fare.
- Beverages: Basic beverages like soda, bottled water, coffee, and tea are included. Virgin Voyages has a unique take on Alcohol Packages on their cruises. Virgin Voyages drink packages are actually called “Bar Tabs”. The “Bar Tab” system allows you to prepay for drinks.
- Wifi: Wifi is included in your cruise fare
What's not included:
- Excursions: Shore excursions and guided tours at port destinations are typically not included. These can be booked through LH Travel + Leisure or onboard via the Cruise Manager.
- Spa and Salon Services: Services at the onboard spa, including massages, facials, and salon treatments, are generally not included.
- Travel Insurance: Insurance is highly recommended for your trip.
- Transportation to and from the Port: Getting to the embarkation port and returning home after the cruise is not included in your package. We do have recommended hotels with cruise port shuttles if you travel to the cruise port destination prior to sailing.
- Flights can be added to your package.
- Medical Services: Medical services for illness or injury during the cruise are not included, and passengers may incur charges for these services
Cancellation policy:
By submitting your Plan To Go Deposit, you are agreeing to the cancellation term of LH Travel + Leisure and Virgin Voyage. Cancellation requests require a $25 cancellation fee per booking that must be paid upon cancellation request. This fee is separate from any other fees that are incurred but not limited to the airline, hotel, cruise, excursion tour or vendor.
Any post booking changes require a $25 change fee per change. This fee must be paid at the time of your change request and is separate from any change fees required by Virgin Voyage.
All adult individuals that decide to opt out of adding travel insurance to their policy, will be required to sign an insurance waiver that will be received via email. Waivers must be signed same day of receipt.
Virgin Voyage Policy
- You have the most flexibility outside of 120 days prior to your departure date. If you're booking at this time, you have a 7-day grace period to request a full refund on your Virgin Voyage deposit and any other payments made. Refunds will be issued to your original form of payment.
- After the grace period (but still before the 120-day mark), you can receive a full refund on any payments, not including your deposit. For your deposit, you can request a Future Voyage Credit at this time.
- From 119 days up to 45 days from your departure date, your available options are:
- Receive a “Future Voyage Credit” in the amount paid that can be applied to a new sailing up to 1 year after the original Voyage date.
- Change to a new Voyage date up to 1 year after original Voyage date.
- Change names on the reservation; permissible up to 48 hours before your Voyage sailing date.
- Submit an insurance claim if travel protection (aka travel insurance) was purchased.
- At 44 days from your departure date, all funds paid are final. But you do have the option to transfer, sell, or otherwise have someone go in your place up to 48 hours before your Voyage.
Note: the date of departure means the date the arrangements you have booked through us start. So if you booked a flight or hotel add-on to your Voyage, it is the day the first add-on begins. Conversely, It may be your Voyage sail date if that is the only thing you booked with us. The sail date is the date the ship, on the Voyage portion of your holiday, departs the port of embarkation.
Individual cancellation policies apply at the Guest level for any individual cancellation within a cabin.
Depending on the reason for cancellation, you may be able to reclaim any unrefunded money (less any applicable excess) under the terms of your travel insurance policy. Claims must be made directly to your insurance company. As always, we recommend you purchase Voyage Protection.
Cancellations shall be deemed effective at 11:59 p.m. local east coast United States time on the date Guest communicates such cancellation.
Per person taxes and fees will be refunded to the credit card on file.
